The number of roots to be transplanted during beard transplantation also varies according to the patient and the patient’s condition. In some cases, there may be localized loss of the beard, as in the case known as “beard breakage” among the people. Similarly, the beard may fall out region by region due to reasons such as injury, trauma, hormonal disorders. In such cases, if the area with beard loss is not very large, transplantation can be completed with low amounts such as 2500-3000 roots and these areas can be covered. However, if there is a loss in a large area where there should be a beard, as in the case where the beard does not grow at all, the number of roots needed can increase up to 6000-7000 roots.
